The C500 is engineered at a different scale. An oversized track frame and D-6N undercarriage form a heavy-duty foundation proven in demanding pipeline work. Its high pitch oscillation system allows the 47,375-lb platform to flex over rough ground, maintaining full track contact where other machines lose traction. The result is stability, control, and sustained production in ground conditions that immobilise lighter equipment.

The C500 runs on a 500 HP Cummins X15 engine delivering 1,700 lb-ft of torque—power built for the largest clearing projects. Its hydraulic system channels that output efficiently to the head, maintaining consistent cutting force through dense timber, heavy brush, and stubborn root systems. The result is sustained production in demanding forestry, pipeline, and transmission applications where consistent output is critical to schedule and cost control.

Large-scale operations often take place far from fuel trucks and service bays. The C500 is equipped for extended operation, with a 213-gallon fuel tank and a 95-gallon hydraulic reservoir to support long shifts between refueling and service intervals. Accessible service points and a push-button cab tilt simplify routine maintenance in the field. The platform is designed to keep working on remote projects where downtime carries significant cost.
